We continue to be overwhelmed with visitors during this time. While we are so very thankful for that and also for the fact that we can offer drive through, we are experiencing a very high volume and longer wait times.
We are trying the best we can. Each day brings a new challenge and trust us when we say we are making changes every night to try to accommodate everyone. This is an unprecedented time and we are trying to adjust accordingly. We want everyone to be able to enjoy the animals, but we also have to keep the highways clear.
Beginning April 18, we will still open at the regular time, however, when the park reaches the maximum limit, we will need to close for the day.
There is not a good way to tell what time that will be. Just keep in mind that this is a possibility. You should also plan to spend 4 to 5 hours in the drive through after arriving at 10am. If you would like to visit bring cash or a North Carolina check, no pets and lots of patience. We’d love to have you!

Monday through Saturday, 9am to 2pm
Sunday, 12pm to 2pm
When the park reaches maximum capacity, the gates will close. There is no guarantee when this will be. Thank you for being understanding.
